JuicyFields was an online investment platform that claimed to offer users the opportunity to invest in the cultivation and sale of medical cannabis plants. It marketed itself as a “crowdgrowing” initiative, where participants could fund cannabis growing operations and receive profits from future sales. However, in mid-2022, the platform became the focus of major controversy and legal investigations after it abruptly ceased operations and blocked user withdrawals. Many authorities and experts have described the project as a likely large-scale scam or Ponzi scheme, with large sums of investor money reportedly lost.
