Whonix Gateway is a component of the Whonix privacy-focused operating system that routes all internet connections through the Tor network. It acts as a network gateway, isolating and anonymizing traffic before it reaches the internet, while a separate virtual machine called the Whonix Workstation handles user activity. This two-part design helps prevent IP leaks and strengthens user anonymity.
