Mica

Mica is a group of naturally occurring minerals characterized by their layered structure, which allows them to be easily split into thin, flexible sheets. These minerals are silicates containing varying amounts of aluminum, potassium, magnesium, iron, and other elements. Mica is commonly used in electrical and thermal insulation, as well as in cosmetics, paints, and building materials due to its heat resistance, transparency, and insulating properties.
