Якутия

Якутия (also known as the Sakha Republic) is a federal republic within the Russian Federation, located in northeastern Siberia. It is the largest subnational administrative region in the world by area and is known for its extremely cold climate, rich natural resources (especially diamonds, gold, and natural gas), and the indigenous Sakha (Yakut) people who are the region’s primary ethnic group. The capital city is Yakutsk.
